The light that comes down the main streets in Boston and Brookline in the afternoon never ceases to amaze me, especially in the late fall. Add to that one tiny sled dog and a little pocket of park that ISN’T overrun with turkeys (incredible for Brookline!) and you have a priceless combination.

By the time of year I usually get to Charlestown to see this crew, the world’s fuzziest dog is pleased by how cold it’s become. Global warming is the enemy of the bernese mountain dog, but because he’s such a good boy he still allows lots of hugs and cuddles, even when it’s unseasonably 70.
